{Almost} Wordless Wednesday: Going to Manhattan

“I’m running away! I’m going to Manhattan!” says the Critter. But he never really gets much farther than the other end of the bench.

It is in fact an entire poached egg, and no, you can’t have it. I already ate it.

He’s going through his rebellion phase awfully early, although I think toddlers and teenagers have a lot in common.

I’m impressed that he got as far as he did. That’s a great picture! My mom always used to run away as far as the road — because her mom told her she wasn’t allowed to cross the street without holding her hand.
