Nope, I won’t be sleeping, ‘cuz I have DEADLINES. Plus, I’m EXCITED! BlogHer ’12 is going to be HERE, just a few stops on the Q train from my home! And I’m going to be THERE!
Are you going to be there, too? Do let me know! And if you want to find me, look for the woman who looks kinda like this:
The kiddo on the left (the Critter) will be staying at home. The kiddo on the right (the Gnome), however, will be with me, either bouncing on my lap or in the Ergo. And what the hell, on Friday I’ll be wearing my NO SLEEP TILL T-shirt, pictured in this photo.
See you soon, I hope!

I’m doing Pathfinder day. Are you? Good lord I need a path. All my favorites are doing the whole conference. I’m sad to miss it.
Alas, no, I’m just doing the regular conference. I guess I didn’t really understand what Pathfinder day is … until I just looked it up just now.
Awesome. (And love the haircut! Maybe it’s not new. But it’s different from the one in your avatar, so it seems new to me.)
Looking forward to meeting you and the Gnome! It will be nice for Eric to see another baby there.
Whew, what a whirlwind!
I am ecstatic that we met. Even if it was for a few minutes. BlogHer is just too big to make it last. Did you get that feeling too? It was my first time and I didn’t expect that to happen. Next time I am going to take at least 2 hours and spend them — each day — sitting my butt in one spot and tweeting out my location and then talking to everyone who passes. Regardless if I know them or not.
By the way, the Gnome is beyond adorable.
Your plan for next time is brilliant. Someone on Twitter predicted that I would get smart phone lust at BlogHer, which I sorta did, but it lasted only as long as BlogHer did. So if I go again next year (a better than 50/50 chance that I do, as Brian and I have been wanting to go to Chicago for a long time), I’ll have to make plans to see folks in advance.
Let me know when you’ll be in NYC next time, and I’ll do the same next time I go to Philly! I am long overdue to head that way — once upon a time I went about once a year!
