Among the most difficult challenges a freelancer faces is knowing when to say “yes” and when to say “no.”
I’ve said “yes” to a lot this autumn — probably (um, definitely) to more than I ought to have. I’ve been trying to make up for a slow spring, and I’m also worried about funding my maternity leave.
But I want to be able to say “yes” to some other things, too!
I want to say “yes” to my favorite holidays: they come only once each year!
And I want to say “yes” to these guys!
So, alas, I think it’s time for another break for me. You can expect me back on Thanksgiving, when I’ll be participating in the gratitude challenge issued by Amanda of Let’s Take the Metro. Until then, xoxoxox!
Linked up at Hobo Mama, I Thought I Knew Mama, and the Natural Parents Network.

Aw, what a great idea! It really is important to know what to say yes to.

It is so hard to fit it all in, isn’t it? And I’m not even (really) working!
These are my favorite holidays, too. Enjoy.
