Wordless Wednesday: A Tree Lights Up in Brooklyn

by Rachael on December 15, 2010

The Moon and the fairy lights led us to the place where the Christmas trees were — in front of the hardware store, next to the Q train tracks.

Beckett carried the tree the dozen or so blocks home.

Yes, we're taking it home!

The Critter wondered why we have been keeping this box of marvels in the closet this whole time.

The Critter's first Christmas tree!

Lovely!

We’re putting our tree up on Friday. I’m starting to really look forward to it. :)

every year there is that same mesmerizing look with my kids, love it! I’m sure he will thoroughly enjoy it! It’s nice to have that fresh reminder to look at things the way children do!

Oh, sweet!! Now I want to decorate a tree. So exciting that it’s his first. :) Don’t you love that smell? It’s the best.

I bet your little one is mesmerized by that sweet tree.
We have a small one too, for our very small house; we had to have an executive meeting first to discuss what would go to make room. Enjoy the bright beauty of Christmas in Brooklyn!
